Arun Builders was founded in Chennai in 1983 by N. Athimulam. It is still a family firm, now run by his sons — which means the person who signs your contract is the person you will find on site.
It started with residential work and a reputation to build.
Mr. N. Athimulam started Arun Builders in 1983 with residential construction, at a time when Chennai was a fraction of its current size and Anna Nagar was still filling in. What he built the firm on was unremarkable and hard to copy: do the work honestly, finish when you said you would, and treat a client as someone you will meet again.
Four decades later that is still the operating rule, and it is the reason a meaningful share of our work comes from families we built for once already.
